Sample Letter For Return To Work After Leave

If you have been absent from work for a long time it is advisable to let your colleagues know that you have returned to work and that they can contact you again for any queries. To this end, you can send a short email to everyone you have worked with. In this post we present 7 sample emails/letters you can send to your colleagues:

EXAMPLE 1

As you know, I’ve been absent for the last few weeks because of health problems. I’m feeling much better now, and I’m glad to have the opportunity to work again. From today I’ll be able to take on new tasks and help the whole team. Thanks for your kindness during the time I was away.

EXAMPLE 2

I’d like to inform you that as of today I am back to work. First of all, I’d like to thank you for the work you had to take on while I was away. I appreciate your motivation and empathy to help me through a difficult time.
Secondly, I would like you to know that you can now contact me for any queries, I’ll be happy to help with anything I can.

EXAMPLE 3

I’d like to thank you for the commitments you made while I was away. I know it was not a small job, but you managed to do your best. I’d also like to inform you that you can now transfer the tasks to me.

EXAMPLE 7

As you know I have been away for the last few weeks due to personal problems. But I’d like to inform you that I’ve returned to work today and you can contact me again.
